Tutti Frutti Watercolors
This may just be the world's easiest recipe for paint. Everyone loves the vibrant shades of these watercolors, and kids are especially partial to the aromatic punch of their fruity scents.
CRAFT MATERIALS: |

A variety of .13- to .23-ounce packets (enough to make two quarts) unsweetened flavored powdered drink mix, such as Kool-Aid |

Warm water |
Time needed: Under 1 Hour |
1. For each color, combine one packet of drink mix and two teaspoons of water in a small cup, stirring until the mix dissolves.
2. Use with paintbrushes on watercolor paper. Refrigerate any leftover paints in airtight containers for up to three days.
 My 2-year-old enjoyed this project. I didn't have any watercolor paper so I used empty cereal or other food boxes for her to paint on. I just broke the boxes down and made them flat like a piece of paper. She did her artwork on the insides of the boxes. - Amanda W
