Parents and Grandparents will love it too.  It's called I Love You Rituals I am excited and very pleased to keep E.Winfield Scott. on my favorite children's book list. He wrote and illustrated the new children's book, If You Want to be a Pirate. I met this engaging young man when I was visiting my sister in Colorado Springs.  In the comfort of her living room, E.W. performed his pirate song for us. Very soon, we were all singing along and especially enjoying the ARRR, ARRR, ARRR part and feeling like  we might like to be pirates ourselves. E.W. knows kids and what they like. His illustrations are wonderful and I laugh out loud when I see them in spite of myself.  This book is not yet available on amazon.com but I wouldn't be surprised if it will be soon.  In the mean time you may purchase his book with the CD of the song included by contacting him at his web page. If You Want to be a Pirate by E.Winfield Scott This little book is not even a year old yet.  It's charming, fun and interactive. For the minute you say Arrr, Arrr, Arrr, the kids are chiming in with you. I've used this book in my performances with preschool and elementary age children. They all love it.  My grand daughter  often asks me to play the included CD with the Pirate song on it and adds her Arrr each time it is played. Have You Filled a Bucket Today? by Carol McCloud This is Granny Grace's new favorite book. She insists that we keep it on the list every month! A kids guide to happiness is just part of it. The other part is making others happy which in turn will make you happy. This character building book won a Mom's Choice Award.  The illustrations are so sweet and innocent. I shared this book with the kids at Kiddie Campus Preschool in Yorkville and they caught the vision.-They filled my bucket to overflowing. No words, only pictures weaves a heartwarming visual story the readers can make up themselves. A perfect companion to "Have you filled a bucket today?"
